So You Want To Net?

Bringing my netting out in public usually makes me feel sad.  Why?

If I work on a knitting or crocheting project, people will ask me what I’m making. Now and then I meet a fellow crafter who recognizes and understands my craft.  We can have a bit of a chat about knitting or crocheting, and how fun yarn is.

If I pull out a netting project, the question changes – What am I doing? I’ve yet to meet someone who sees the mesh stick and shuttle full of thread, who will then sit down and talk about how fun netting is.  It feels like a dying art – and a pretty neat one.

If you’re interested in learning how to net, I have just the thing for you.  Pop over to NettingNook.com for some excellent (soon-to-come) lessons, for beginners and more experienced learners alike!

FYI, another cool netting website devoted to netting: KnotsIndeed.com
